En el cultivo de marihuana es muy frecuente encontrarse con enfermedades, plagas y hongos que pueden da\u00f1ar tus plantas. Todos los da\u00f1os que sufran las plantas se ver\u00e1n reflejado en una disminuci\u00f3n considerable de la producci\u00f3n final. En caso de que estos da\u00f1os no sean tratados o erradicados no solo mermar\u00e1 la cosecha si no que tambi\u00e9n puede llegar provocar la muerte de algunos ejemplares.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lo principal es saber identificar el da\u00f1o que est\u00e1 sufriendo la planta para poder tratarlo con rapidez y efectividad para que nuestras plantas vuelvan a su correcto desarrollo.<\/span><\/p>\n

En esta ocasi\u00f3n os voy a hablar de un hongo muy com\u00fan. Si eres cultivador seguro que ya lo has visto alguna vez.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hablo del o\u00eddio en la marihuana. Un hongo que puede aparecer tanto en cultivo de interior como cultivo de interior como en cultivo de exterior. Os voy a explicar c\u00f3mo se desarrolla, c\u00f3mo afecta a nuestras plantas y lo m\u00e1s importante, como prevenirlo y erradicarlo. Esto no solo vale para plantas de cannabis tambi\u00e9n es aplicable a cualquier tipo de plantas, ya sean ornamentales u hort\u00edcolas.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el o\u00eddio?<\/span><\/h2>\n

El o\u00eddio en la marihuana es una enfermedad producida por un hongo<\/strong> con id\u00e9ntico nombre. Esta enfermedad tambi\u00e9n es conocida como ceniza o moho blanco.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visualmente lo puedes detectar de forma sencilla. El o\u00eddio se presenta en forma de capa o vello de color blanco o gris\u00e1ceo y algodonoso<\/strong> como una harina muy muy fina. Principalmente afecta a las hojas y tallos m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes<\/strong> y en el caso de marihuana suele asentarse tanto en la parte superior de la hoja como en el env\u00e9s.<\/span><\/p>\n

Este polvo blanco algodonado est\u00e1 formado por el micelio y los conidios (\u00f3rganos de reproducci\u00f3n asexual del o\u00eddio). Tus plantas proporcionar\u00e1n al hongo todo lo necesario para vivir a modo de par\u00e1sito.<\/span><\/p>\n

Si eres un cultivador de exterior debes prestar mucha atenci\u00f3n a su aparici\u00f3n. En la \u00e9poca estival es cuando se produce la principal propagaci\u00f3n de las esporas. Las esporas de hongo o\u00eddio son c\u00e9lulas que se transportan a trav\u00e9s del aire de forma r\u00e1pida e infectan otras plantas. Junto con el hongo botritis, el o\u00eddio es uno de los hongos m\u00e1s comunes en los cultivos de cannabis. Este segundo, si es tratado a tiempo, no es tan destructivo como la botritis.<\/span><\/p>\n

C\u00f3mo afecta el o\u00eddio a la marihuana<\/span><\/h2>\n

El o\u00eddio en la marihuana rara vez puede llegar a matar a la planta pero si dejarla muy da\u00f1ada (llegando a la necrosis) con la repercusi\u00f3n de una gran merma en la cosecha final.<\/span><\/p>\n

La espora de hongo o\u00eddio cubre la superficie de las hojas bloqueando as\u00ed la absorci\u00f3n de luz y disminuyendo a su vez el proceso de fotos\u00edntesis<\/strong> de la planta. Como resultado la hoja se abarquilla y empieza a tener un tono verde muy oscuro, pasando por color marr\u00f3n (puede presentar tambi\u00e9n tonalidades moradas o rojizas) y finalmente necrosis y muerte de la hoja.<\/span><\/p>\n

Otro factor muy importante que afecta el o\u00eddio a la marihuana es en su respiraci\u00f3n<\/strong>. El mismo micelio del hongo obstruye los estomas (aparato respiratorio de las hojas) de la planta provoc\u00e1ndole problemas respiratorios.<\/span><\/p>\n

Da\u00f1o del o\u00eddio en la marihuana<\/span><\/h3>\n

Muchos cultivadores creen que el o\u00eddio apenas da\u00f1a las plantas de marihuana y que no es necesario preocuparse. \u00a1ERROR!.<\/span><\/p>\n

Si tus plantas se ven afectadas por este hongo y no se trata prep\u00e1rate a sufrir las consecuencias.<\/span><\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s de perder masa vegetal<\/strong>, que no es bueno en ning\u00fan caso, si el hongo se propaga hasta el cogollo se produce una p\u00e9rdida de polen. Los frutos infectados pierden brillo, sabor y aroma<\/strong>. Los cogollos tampoco maduran bien por lo que perder\u00e1s adem\u00e1s de calidad cantidad.<\/span><\/p>\n

Porque aparece el o\u00eddio en la marihuana<\/span><\/h2>\n

Las razones de la aparici\u00f3n del o\u00eddio en la marihuana pueden ser muy diversos. Como he comentado antes, puede aparecer tanto en cultivo de interior y exterior.<\/span><\/p>\n

El o\u00eddio en la marihuana puede aparecer por:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Exceso de humedad:<\/strong> si en cultivo de interior no se controla correctamente la humedad y trabajamos con par\u00e1metros muy elevados aparecer\u00e1 r\u00e1pidamente. Lo mismo sucede en cultivo de exterior cuando nuestras plantas reciben mucha sombra o son cultivadas en zonas muy h\u00famedas.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Mala ventilaci\u00f3n del cultivo:<\/strong> para tener controlada la humedad es necesario tener una correcta ventilaci\u00f3n del mismo. Para cubrir esta necesidad del cultivo ay\u00fadate de extractores para conseguir una \u00f3ptima recirculaci\u00f3n de aire (tanto de entrada como de salida). Tambi\u00e9n es recomendable trabajar con uno o varios ventiladores que muevan el aire en el interior del cultivo y as\u00ed evitar las bolsas de humedad.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Exceso de nitr\u00f3geno:<\/strong> se produce un exceso de abonado. Como resultado de este exceso la planta se ve obligada a absorber m\u00e1s agua de lo normal. Esto es un detonante importante para la aparici\u00f3n del o\u00eddio.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Exceso de masa vegetal:<\/strong> no es recomendable pelar mucho una planta, pero si se da el caso de que la planta es muy grande y frondosa, es recomendable pelarla un poco para facilitar la ventilaci\u00f3n. Importante en plantas grandes de exterior.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Plantas sensibles o d\u00e9biles:<\/strong> cuando una planta es muy d\u00e9bil o se le realizado cortes (esquejes y plantas madre) tambi\u00e9n es propensa a infectarse.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Mala elecci\u00f3n de la gen\u00e9tica a cultivar:<\/strong> si tu zona de cultivo, ya interior o exterior, mantiene una humedad alta, elige una variedad resistente. Existen variedades menos propensas a la infecci\u00f3n de hongos.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Lluvias:<\/strong> si cultivas variedades muy tard\u00edas en exterior es posible que entres en \u00e9poca de lluvias.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Como prevenir y eliminar el o\u00eddio en la marihuana<\/span><\/h2>\n

    Puedes evitar que tus plantas se infecten evitando los factores que he nombrado en el punto anterior. Pero adem\u00e1s puedes ayudar con tratamientos preventivos y fito fortificantes que evitar\u00e1n en medida de lo posible la infecci\u00f3n de la planta de marihuana.<\/span><\/p>\n

    La mayor\u00eda de estos tratamientos son de aplicaci\u00f3n foliar (pulverizado) por lo que debes utilizarlos con los focos apagados en interior o cuando el sol est\u00e9 escondido en cultivo de exterior.<\/span><\/p>\n

    En caso de no llegar a tiempo con la prevenci\u00f3n o que no haya sido suficiente no te preocupes. Existen fungicidas que eliminar\u00e1n de un plumazo tu problema.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Para prevenir el o\u00eddio<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    Preventivo casero para o\u00eddio en la marihuana<\/span><\/h4>\n

    Es muy sencillo. Solo necesitaremos 100ml de leche desnatada, 500ml de agua mineral (nunca de grifo) y 10gr de bicarbonato s\u00f3dico.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Remedio casero para eliminar o\u00eddio en la marihuana<\/span><\/h4>\n

    El ajo com\u00fan es un efectivo repelente de hongos y bacteria. Para poder aplicarlo debes hacer una infusi\u00f3n con 80 gramos de ajo por cada litro de agua.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Realiza la mezcla de agua (mineral o de osmosis) y ajo previamente picado. Tapa la mezcla para que macere y evita que le d\u00e9 la luz. Este proceso debe durar unas 24h.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Pasadas 24h, calienta la mezcla en una olla hasta que llegue a hervir y ret\u00edrala del fuego. Deja enfriar la mezcla y con un colador deshazte de los trozos de ajo.<\/span><\/p>\n
