Muchos cultivadores no dan importancia al sustrato utilizado y simplemente se decantan por la tierra m\u00e1s barata que encuentran. En m\u00e1s de una ocasi\u00f3n un cliente ha acudido a nuestra tienda comentando que las plantas se le han quedado paradas, no se desarrollan bien, tarda mucho en secarse, problemas con la aparici\u00f3n de hongos\u2026 Tras realizarle algunas pregunta acabo por descubrir que utilizan turbas de muy mala calidad comprada en bazares asi\u00e1ticos. \u00a1ERROR!<\/span><\/p>\n

Estos sustratos son de muy baja calidad, pobre de nutrientes y sin esterilizar. Estas tierras pueden valer para el jard\u00edn de la abuela y aun as\u00ed no te lo recomiendo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Puedes gastarte un dineral en productos para tu cultivo pero si no utilizas una buena tierra para marihuana<\/strong> no esperes obtener una buena cosecha. Puede que al principio vaya bien, pero con el tiempo empezar\u00e1s a tener problemas y posiblemente irreversibles.<\/span><\/p>\n

Otro factor importante que debes saber de los sustratos es que aunque tengan nutrientes, acabar\u00e1n perdi\u00e9ndolos riego tras riego. Por esta raz\u00f3n se utilizan despu\u00e9s fertilizantes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Te voy a explicar las diferencias entre los sustratos para marihuana<\/strong> que podemos encontrar en el mercado, y cu\u00e1l es la mejor dependiendo del tipo de cultivo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tipos de sustrato para marihuana<\/span><\/h2>\n

En la actualidad existe un amplio abanico marcas de sustrato para marihuana <\/strong>y puede ser un poco confuso elegir entre todos ellos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Voy a empezar por lo b\u00e1sico. La principal diferencia que te vas a encontrar a la hora de elegir un buen sustrato para marihuana es su composici\u00f3n y contenido de nutrientes. Aqu\u00ed hay que diferenciar en sustrato All Mix<\/strong> (rico en nutrientes), sustrato Light Mix <\/strong>(mezcla suave de nutrientes) y sustrato de coco<\/strong> (fibra de coco inerte).<\/span><\/p>\n

Sustrato All Mix para marihuana<\/span><\/h3>\n

\"SUSTRATO-ALL-MIX\"<\/p>\n

El sustrato considerado All Mix son tierras con alta carga de nutrientes (con esto no quiero decir que si utilizas All Mix no tienes por qu\u00e9 fertilizar).<\/span><\/p>\n

Son los m\u00e1s utilizados en mundo del cannabis ya que adem\u00e1s de una alta carga de nutrientes suelen contener otros a\u00f1adidos como:<\/span><\/p>\n

– Perlita<\/strong>. Encargada de airear el sustrato y mantenerlo hidratado.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Fibra de coco<\/strong>. Mejora la respiraci\u00f3n de las ra\u00edces.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Torta de neem<\/strong>. Evita plagas en la zona radicular y cuando es absorbido a trav\u00e9s de las ra\u00edces mejora las defensas de la planta.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Tricoderma<\/strong>. Mejora el desarrollo de la ra\u00edz y la protege de hongos.<\/span><\/p>\n

El sustrato All Mix suele contener bastante alimento para no tener que abonar las plantas durante al menos dos semanas. Durante estas dos semanas, como mucho, te recomendar\u00eda que utilizaras un estimulador de ra\u00edces.<\/span><\/p>\n

Un fallo muy com\u00fan que suelen cometer algunos cultivadores es abonar agresivamente la planta desde muy joven utilizando este tipo de sustrato. El resultado; sobre fertilizaci\u00f3n de una planta joven corriendo el riesgo de perderla.<\/span><\/p>\n

Usos sustrato All Mix para marihuana<\/span><\/h4>\n

El uso de sustrato All Mix para marihuana<\/strong> es recomendable para plantas j\u00f3venes y adultas, en cultivo de interior y exterior<\/strong>. Muchos cultivadores lo utilizan incluso para el germinado de las semillas. El problema que puede surgir que si la semilla no es fuerte puede que no desarrollarse bien por exceso de alimento.<\/span><\/p>\n

Si no quieres trabajar con sustratos diferentes, te aconsejo que aguantes un poco m\u00e1s las semillas en los jiffys (o medio de cultivo que hayas utilizado para germinar) para que desarrolle un poco m\u00e1s las ra\u00edces y as\u00ed poder asimilar mejor los nutrientes. De esta forma podr\u00e1s utilizar el sustrato All Mix<\/strong> desde el inicio.<\/span><\/p>\n

Este completo sustrato se puede utilizar tanto en cultivo de interior, cultivo de exterior y cultivo de autoflorecientes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Si vas a realizar a tu cultivo un buen plan de abonado no es necesario complementar esta tierra con humus ya que mucho suelen contenerlo en su formulaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sustrato Light Mix para marihuana<\/span><\/h3>\n

\"LIGHT-MIX\"<\/p>\n

El sustrato considerado Light Mix son turbas o tierras con una composici\u00f3n muy suave de nutrientes.<\/span><\/p>\n

La composici\u00f3n m\u00e1s com\u00fan suele ser: fibra de coco, mezcla de turbas (turba rubia y negra), perlita y material vegetal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Muchos cultivadores utilizan este tipo de sustrato ya que trabajan con planes de abonado con alta cantidad de nutrientes desde el principio del cultivo. AL igual que el sustrato All Mix, puede utilizarse tanto en cultivo de interior como exterior.<\/span><\/p>\n

Otra opci\u00f3n es trabajar con este tipo de sustrato ya realizar una mezcla m\u00e1s ajustada al gusto. Puedes a\u00f1adirle humus y microorganismos en formato s\u00f3lido.<\/span><\/p>\n

Usos sustrato Light Mix para marihuana<\/span><\/h4>\n

El sustrato Light Mix debes utilizarlo para las primeras etapas de la planta, desde la germinaci\u00f3n hasta el principio de la fase de crecimiento. Otro uso muy com\u00fan es para la realizaci\u00f3n de esquejes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Si vas a trabajar con variedades feminizadas, una vez germinadas, utiliza macetas de 0.23 o 0.60L con sustrato Light Mix combinado con un estimulador de ra\u00edces hasta que la planta coja fuerza y est\u00e9 lista para ponerla bajo el foco o sacarla a la intemperie.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cuando la planta ya ha enraizado bien y ha cogido fuerza, est\u00e1 lista para trasplantarla a un sustrato All Mix.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sustrato para germinar marihuana<\/span><\/h3>\n

El sustrato correcto para germinar semillas de marihuana ser\u00eda el Light Mix. Te recomiendo utilizar un sustrato suave ya que si la semilla no es fuerte puede tener problemas en su desarrollo debido al exceso de nutriente.<\/span><\/p>\n

Una buena opci\u00f3n es utilizar jiffy<\/strong>. Los jiffys son tacos de turba prensada<\/strong> que al humedecerlos se hinchan y se convierten en un buen medio de cultivo para su germinaci\u00f3n. Puedes encontrarlo en unidades sueltas o en bandejas (opci\u00f3n m\u00e1s recomendable si vas a germinar muchas semillas).<\/span><\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n puedes utilizar las bandejas Klone<\/strong>. Son unas bandejas de 150 alveolos que contienen turba ya preparada para el proceso de germinaci\u00f3n de las semillas. En su composici\u00f3n cuentan con una mezcla equilibrada de turba, coco y hormona enraizante. Es un producto muy parecido al Root Riot solo que viene presentado en bandeja.<\/span><\/p>\n

Por \u00faltimo tendr\u00edamos las bandejas Eazy Plug<\/strong>. Son bloques estabilizados y biodegradables compuesto por turbas y un compuesto aglomerante org\u00e1nico que ayuda a mantener la estructura correcta durante el proceso de germinaci\u00f3n de las semillas o enraizamiento de esquejes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Todas estas opciones son muy econ\u00f3micas y junto con un agua correcta reducir\u00e1s los fallos de germinaci\u00f3n de forma muy notable.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sustrato para esquejes de marihuana<\/span><\/h3>\n

Puede utilizar los mismo sustratos que se utilizan en la germinaci\u00f3n: jiffy, easy plug, o Root Riot o bandeja Klone.<\/span><\/p>\n

El m\u00e1s utilizado de ellos es el jiffy y los tacos Root Riot. Utilizando ambos junto con una buena hormona enraizante, conseguir\u00e1s que tus esquejes enra\u00edcen r\u00e1pido y con menor \u00edndice de fallo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fibra de coco para marihuana<\/span><\/h3>\n

La fibra de coco es un sustrato completamente inerte. No contiene ning\u00fan tipo de nutriente ni a\u00f1adidos.<\/span><\/p>\n

A pesar de no contener ning\u00fan tipo de nutrientes se utiliza como medio de cultivo, ya sea en cultivo com\u00fan o hidropon\u00eda. Lo que debes tener en cuenta es que la fibra de coco apenas retiene nutrientes. Por esta raz\u00f3n se debe abonar el cultivo en todos los riegos siempre controlando la EC del caldo de cultivo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Otros usos que le puedes dar a la fibra de o sustrato de coco es mezclarlo otro tipo de tierra para mejorar sus esponjosidad y aumentar la oxigenaci\u00f3n de las ra\u00edces.<\/span><\/p>\n

No es recomendable para el cultivo de variedades autoflorecientes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Puede venir presentada en saco como cualquier otro sustrato o prensado en ladrillos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sustrato en floraci\u00f3n marihuana<\/span><\/h2>\n

Al llegar la floraci\u00f3n la mayor parte de los nutrientes del sustrato habr\u00e1n desaparecido. Las plantas se seguir\u00e1n alimentando de los nutrientes que t\u00fa le aplique v\u00eda riego.<\/span><\/p>\n

Si quieres activar de nuevo la micro vida y potenciar la floraci\u00f3n de forma considerable puedes utilizar bacterias espec\u00edficas para la etapa floral de la planta. Ser\u00eda el caso de BactoBloom<\/strong><\/span><\/a> y Mammuth P<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Reutilizar la tierra en cultivo de marihuana<\/span><\/h2>\n

Muchos cultivadores me preguntan si es posible reutilizar el sustrato principalmente porque est\u00e1n cansados de ir siempre con sacos de aqu\u00ed para all\u00e1. S\u00ed que es posible pero no es lo m\u00e1s recomendable<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Debes tener en cuenta que al finalizar el cultivo el sustrato ha perdido todas sus propiedades<\/strong> debido a los continuos riegos y al lavado final de ra\u00edces. Por esta raz\u00f3n si no tienes otra opci\u00f3n que reutilizar el sustrato debes realizar el siguiente proceso:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Lo primero, que debes hacer es limpiar el sustrato de restos de ra\u00edces. A poder ser desecha tambi\u00e9n el primer cent\u00edmetro de sustrato por si hubiera alg\u00fan insecto o larva. Esp\u00e1rcelo sobre unos pl\u00e1sticos para facilitar despu\u00e9s su recogida.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    1. Una vez est\u00e9 bien limpio pasamos a la reactivaci\u00f3n del sustrato. Esto consiste en volver a a\u00f1adir alimento al sustrato. Utiliza humus de lombriz, micorrizas y torta de neem. Tambi\u00e9n existen productos que cumplen esta funci\u00f3n, se conocen como reactivadores de suelo.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Humedece el sustrato con un pulverizador y m\u00e9zclalo todo bien, con paciencia y con cuidado de no da\u00f1ar el pl\u00e1stico de abajo. D\u00e9jalo reposar durante una semana aproximadamente y ya estar\u00e1 listo.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
